Among other controversies, Barclays has been fined £500 million for tax avoidance by the Treasury [2], illegally manipulated the price of gold [3], attempted to manipulate the US energy market [4], and conducted workplace surveillance on its staff [5].

I have heard of barclays putting predatory fines on people in overdraft too 😠 taking advantage of them when they are stuggling
